Toshogu Shrine Spring Festival in Nikko

The largest festival will be held at Nikko Toshogu Shrine in the historic area of Nikko. This event takes place in spring and autumn. The highlight is Yabusame Horseback Archery put on at the approach to the Toshogu Shrine and the Samurai parade.

Night illumination event at Kyu-shibarikyu Garden

The theme of the event is "Wind Shines," which represents the arrival of Spring. The digital art and lighting effects will illuminate the traditional garden that the Samurai lord created.
