Yumenoshima and Yumenoshima Park

A relaxing place in Tokyo Bay

Yumenoshima, which translates to "Dream Island," is an artificial island in Tokyo Bay that's perfect for a day of fun and relaxation. Surrounded by canals, it boasts an array of outdoor facilities to keep everyone entertained. You can cycle along the paths, enjoy a barbecue, take your dog for a stroll at the dog park, splash around in the swimming pool, work out at the gym, play futsal, or even try your hand at archery.

Yumenoshima Park

Yumenoshima Park, the heart of Yumenoshima, offers a delightful escape with its refreshing sea breeze and a unique atmosphere that's quite different from the rest of Tokyo. The park is filled with beautiful eucalyptus trees and Canary Island date palms, giving it an exotic vibe that's perfect for a sunny weekend or a relaxing day off.

The Yumenoshima Tropical Greenhouse Dome in the park is a spot that you won’t want to miss. This tropical museum invites you to explore a wonderful variety of unique plants from around the globe. Inside, you’ll discover fascinating species that grow in tropical jungles, like cacao and bananas. Many visitors come to marvel at these unique plants, but for those from tropical countries, it’s a comforting and familiar place that can bring back memories of home.

Marica by the dome

The Yumenoshima Tropical Greenhouse Dome is an environmentally friendly facility that utilizes waste heat generated from the nearby Shin-Koto Incineration Plant to heat and cool the large greenhouse. The temperature inside the greenhouse is carefully controlled, making it a surprisingly comfortable place even on hot summer days—truly a hidden gem.
