Taiwan Festival TOKYO at Ueno Park

Experience the Taiwanese food culture. This popular event will take place at Ueno Park in Tokyo. Many different Taiwanese food stalls will be there.
Narita-san Gion Festival Jul. 10 - 12, 2026
Naritasan Gion is a traditional religious festival. With over 300 years of history, it takes place annually in the summer to celebrate bountiful crops and community welfare. The festival's highlight features beautifully decorated floats and participants in traditional attire.
Giant Doll Parade at Sawara

During the 3-day festival, various events are staged on streets in Sawara old town, featuring parading of Dashi floats decorated with giant Samurai dolls, accompanied of traditional festival music "Sawara-bayashi."
Tsukishima Kusaichi Street Market
Jul. 11 - 12, 2026
A folk market takes place at Tsukishima Old Town, known for Monja Street. About 150 stalls will line there.
Paper lantern and giant doll float festival TENNO-SAMA Jul. 12 and Jul. 18, 2026
A historic festival held in Kuki city, Saitama prefecture. Floats of giant dolls parade on the streets in the daytime, and the floats decorated with paper lanterns parade in the evening.
JNMA Railroad Model Tradeshow

Kagurazaka Matsuri Festival Jul. 22 - 25, 2026
Hozuki(Japanese lantern plant) Market will be held at the temple in Kakurazaka. A traditional Japanese folk dance will also be performed on the streets there.
Bon Dance Festival in Shinbashi

For people living, walking, and enjoying in Shinbashi. A traditional Japanese dance festival takes place in front of Shinbashi Station, in the business district of central Tokyo. Locals in Yukata costumes gather around a stage and dance (Bon-Odori) together.
Japanese Craft Showcase Event - TOKYO KOUGEI PARK

Featuring Japanese Crafts, or Kogei, this event holds various programs - hands-on experiences, demonstrations, and sales of the fancy traditional artworks by 78 craft artists.
Firework Festival in Katsushika
Jul. 28, 2026
Katsushika City in Tokyo will host a large fireworks festival at the Edogawa Riverside. 20000 fireworks will be set off.
Bon Folk Dance & Music Festival in Kinshicho Jul. 29 and 30, 2026
Traditional Japanese dance music (Kawachi Ondo) will be performed on stage, and locals will gather to dance together with the music.
Japanese Artisanal Technique Exhibition

Omiya Nakasendo Festival Aug. 1 and 2, 2026
This traditional summer festival held in Omiya features Mikoshi (miniature shrines) and floats parades. Taiko drumming and traditional dance performances will take place on the streets around the east exit of JR Omiya Station in the evening.
Yorii Night Festival
Aug. 1, 2026
Held in Yorii Town, Saitama Prefecture, this traditional festival is dedicated to the god of water. Lantern-filled floats are sent down the river while fireworks light up the night sky.
Numata Matsuri Festival
Aug. 3 - 5, 2026
One of the highlights is Tengu Mikoshi, carrying large objects of Tengu, a long-nosed goblin.
The festival takes place in Numata City. Gunma Prefecture. Numata City is on the way from central Tokyo to Minakami, a resort known for outdoor activities such as Rafting, Canyoning, and Skiing.
Hachioji Float Parade Festival
Aug. 7 - 9, 2026
One of the largest float parade festivals held in Greater Tokyo. 4000 people in traditional summer costumes will dance and parade with 19 floats on Koshu-kaido Street.
Asagaya Tanabata Festival
Aug. 7 - 11, 2026
A Tanabata Festival held at the Asagaya shopping street. The 700m-long street will be decorated with giant paper crafts, looking funny, cheap, artistic, surreal, and chaotic, which visitors will find 'Kawaii.'
