Chrysanthemum festival in Bunkyo City

On the grounds of Yushima Tenmangu Shrine, various Chrysanthemum flowers will be displayed.

Yushima Tenmangu is a historic shrine that honors Sugawara No Michizane, the god of learning. During the New Year, many students visit to pray for success in their entrance exams. Local people usually call this shrine Yushima Tenjin instead of Yushima Tenmangu.
