Sake Festival at Hakkoh-no-sato in Chiba | Mar. 17, 2024

This local event will take place at the two Sake breweries with a history of over 300 years.

Sake Festival at Hakkoh-no-sato in Chiba
発酵の里こうざき酒蔵まつり

In this event,  you will get a chance to join Sake brewery tours and free Sake tasting. On the streets, about 200 stalls will line up and sell special local foods, such as Miso paste and pickles. Some Japanese folk music will be performed on stage there, which will be fun for families.

Location: Nabedana brewery, Kouzaki-machi, Katori City, Chiba Prefecture

Getting there from JR Narita Station*
(JR Narita Sta. is next to Narita International Airport, about a 10-min ride)

From JR Narita Station 成田, take the JR Narita-sen train and get off at Shimouza Kouzaki Station下総神崎 (22-min ride). A 15-minute walk takes to the event site from the station.
During this festival, a free shuttle bus service is available between the Shimouza Kozaki Station and the festival site.
