Nostalgic Night Market at Akigawa Valley Aug. 29, 2026

A night market held along Hinohara-kaido way in front of JR Musashi-Itsukaichi Station. Handmade lanterns line the marketplace and shine, creating a calm and friendly atmosphere of the old town of Tokyo.

Around the marketplace, some street musicians in traditional costumes will play Japanese musical instruments: Shakuhachi flute and Koto harp. Stores along the road serve their specialties during the festival.
