Sumida River Open Terrace 2026 at Toshima District 5 Oct. 3 and 4, 2026
This event is an opportunity for locals to relax by the riverside and learn about the river environment and its significance. Food trucks and craft stalls will be available.
The Sumida River Terrace is a 37-kilometer-long riverside area where the revetment foundations—originally constructed to strengthen the levees—have been transformed into public amenities. This waterfront space is now a valuable recreational area in the heart of the city, enjoyed by many visitors.
Sumida River Open Terrace 2026 is a series of events that is held 3 times in Tokyo: Toshima, Arakawa, and Koto City. The first event is held in Toshima in Kita City.
