Torinoichi Market at Otori-jinja Shrines

Torinoichi Fair is an open-air market selling lucky charms called Kumade. It has been said that the Kumade brings people good fortune and protects them from misfortune.

Torino Ichi is held at several shrines (basically named Ootori-jinja) in Tokyo, including Ootori-jinja in Asakusa, Hanazono-jinja in Shinjuku, and Ootori-jinja in Zoushigaya.
