Yorii Night Festival

Held in Yorii Town, Saitama Prefecture, this traditional festival is dedicated to the god of water. Lantern-filled floats are sent down the river while fireworks light up the night sky.

Access
About a 15-min walk from Yorii Station (寄居駅) on the Tobu-tojo Line, Chichibu Railway, and the JR Hachiko Line.

Getting there from Ikebukuro, Tokyo
From Tobu Ikebukuro Station, take the Tobu-tojo Line (70-min ride) and get off to change trains at Ogawamachi Station. From Ogawamachi, take a train bound for Yorii (17-min ride)
