Yorii Night Festival

Held in Yorii Town, Saitama prefecture, this traditional festival is dedicated to the god of water. Lantern-filled floats are sent down the river while fireworks light up the night sky.

Access
About 15-min walk from Yorii Station (寄居駅) on Tobu-tojo Line, Chichibu railway, JR Hachiko Line.

Getting there from Ikebukuro, Tokyo
From Tobu Ikebukuro Station, take the Tofu-tojo Line (70-min ride) and get off/change train at Ogawamachi Station. From the Ogawamachi, take a train bound for Yorii.(17-min ride)
