Hole-digging Competition in Narita Entry begins on Dec. 4, 2023

Narita Dream Farm in Chiba will hold the 22nd Hole-digging competition on February 4, 2024. The entry begins on Dec. 4.

What's the Hole-digging competition?
The Hole-digging Competition is a simple contest where teams of up to six people get to dig a hole in the earth of a ranch. The team that digs the deepest hole within the time limit wins and gets the prize! The competition will be held at Narita Dream Farm on February 4th, 2024

Narita Dream Farm (Narita Yume Bokujo) is an agricultural leisure park in Narita, Chiba Prefecture, where you can enjoy animal petting, farming experience, camping, and more.

Entry accepted only by telephone
Entry fees:
7000 JPY per team
6000 JPY per team of females
5000 JPY per team of kids under 12 years old (primary school children)
The price includes the park admission fees.

The rules:
The number of people in a team is up to 6. Dig a hole in 30 minutes as deep as possible only using scoops, buckets, ropes, and rudder.
