Akasaka Hikawa-jinja Shrine Festival

Founded more than 1000 years ago, Hikawa-jinja Shrine is a historical shrine that lies in a very central area of Tokyo, surrounded by modern buildings. During this festival, large doll floats and Mikoshi(miniature shrines) will parade around the streets of Akasaka town.

The highlight of this festival is the largest parade, which goes around the Akasaka district with large doll floats and Mikoshi carrying. The parade starts from/to Akasaka Hikawa Shrine and goes around the Akasaka Sacas. For details, see the official website
