Fussa Tanabata Summer Festival | Jul. 8 -9, 2023

A large, local festival held at Fussa City in Tokyo, has 400,000 visitors every year. 

 

During the festival, the streets will be decorated with colorful Tanabata items and 100 stalls line there. People parade and dance through the streets.

Getting there
From JR Shinjuku Station 新宿駅, take the Chuo-sen train bound for Oume, then get off at Fussa Station 福生駅 (43 min by Oume Kaisoku Express)

From JR Tachikawa Station 立川駅, take the Ome-sen train bound for Ome and Okutama, then, get off at Fussa Station 福生駅.
