Harajuku Super Yosakoi Dance Festival

A big Yosakoi-dance competition festival held at Harajuku Omotesando Street, Meiji Shrine, and NHK Keyaki Street in Shibuya.

Yosakoi is an advanced folk dance, originally started in Kochi on Shikoku Island. The feature of Yosakoi dance is to dance lively in a group. Harajuku Super Yosakoi Festival is a dance competition, where about 100 dance teams participate from different regions of Japan, and over 800,000 people come to see their performance every year.
