Kyu-Shiba-rikyu Garden Free admission day | April 20, 2024

In commemorating the 100th anniversary of the opening to the public, the garden will offer free admission to everyone on April 20th.

The Kyu-Shiba-rikyu Garden is a Japanese garden that was established during the early Edo period roughly 350 years ago. In 1924, it was given to Tokyo City (currently known as Tokyo) as a gift to celebrate the wedding of Emperor Showa. Even today, the garden still bears the marks of a feudal lord's garden from the Edo era.
