Giant Doll Parade at Sawara | Jul. 14 - 16, 2023

During the 3-day festival, various events  are staged on streets in Sawara old town, featuring parading of Dashi floats decorated with giant Samurai dolls, accompanied of traditional festival music "Sawara-bayashi"

Getting there:
From JR Narita Station (Next to Narita International Airport station)
Take a train on the JR Narita-sen Line JR成田線 and get off at Sawara station 佐原駅 (Travel time: Approx.30 mins. A 10-min walk from Sawara station to the old district.
