How do I take a Toden Tram?

Taking a Toden Tram is similar to hopping on a Toei Bus, so simple and easy. You just pay your fare when you board, that is all. The best part is that there's a flat rate, meaning your fare remains the same no matter how far you travel on the line.

How do I pay the fare?

A fare box is next to the driver's sheet, where you can pay. You can use your train card, such as a PASMO or Suica, and in cash with coins or a 1000 yen bill. If you only have 1000 yen bills, you do not need to break the bill beforehand. Just insert a 1,000 yen bill into the bill slot, and you will receive a change only after paying the fare.

Getting off the tram

Press the button "とまります" when your stop is announced and shown on the display at the front. When the button light is on, it indicates that the bus will stop at the next stop..

Enjoy the ride!
