Ume Plum Flower Festival at Mt.Tsukuba | Feb.17 - Mar. 17, 2024

Mt. Tsukuba (Tsukubasan), a historic hiking spot within the Tokyo area, has a large plum forest 250m high on its slope, which holds 1000 plum trees. On a sunny, clear day, Skytree in Tokyo and even Mt.Fuji may be seen from up there.

Located in the southern part of Ibaraki prefecture, easily accessible from the Tokyo area, Mt Tsukuba or Tsukubasan is a popular mountain where people can enjoy hiking, sightseeing, and Onsen bathing.
